Fishing in December
I don't typically fish in December, but I have the bug and I think I need to get on the water. I was considering going to Taylorville Lake to fish for some hybrids and wanted to know if anyone had any advice. Or if anyone has some suggestions on other destinations or techniques for December.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

RE: Fishing in December
No offense to the Taylorsville Lake loving crowd, But I'd go somewhere else. Nolin's been good, then there's down below the dam in Louisville fishing for Sauger and Hybrids and once the Lake cools down more--Cumberland will be on. You've also got Barren---it's been known to produce this time of year.

RE: Fishing in December
I agree with Rippin. You just can't beat fishing on Dale Hollow this time of year. You'd need to put in at the state park because water is too low for sulphur creek ramp. Plus they charge $10, I think they really want to keep the public out of sulphur creek ramp. I have good luck with very small plastics with inline spinners for smallmouth.

Reanimated
I fish dale a lot. I never have used the IN-Line spinner on dale. I have heard of a lot of people that do, and that they really work. Can you tell me how you fish them with success.
You don't have to give me any spots, just what size spinner, and possibly colors would be great.
