I am planning a trip down to the hollow this weekend. I will be fishing the wolf river end of the lake. I would be grateful for any information. I am not looking for spots just the type of banks, or the baits that have been working. I am open to live bait also. Thanks for the info.
I would look for chunk rock close to deep water. Early and late look for fish in the 10 to 15 foot range. On overcast days, sumtimes all day. As the sun gets up they will definately pull off to the 20plus range. If the sun is out fish shaded banks. Stay out of the bright sun. Sometimes I do real well all the way in the backs of the hollows, close to cover.
Slow roll a grub, whirley bee, or a fly and rind. If this fails try shiners. Good Luck!
