Rod lovers
Ok you guys answer this for me--these litewieght rods kistler helium 2 and loomis.Lets say your on dale hollow you have been out for 6 hr.s fishing its 28 degrees an that big smallmouth hits she around 7.5 lb.----Is that rod going to breack?????/You can,t have that drag to loose for a fish like that or you will be sorry.....I am talking a hard hook sat fish is down at 20 ft.--well lets hear it lol----well now im on my way to cedar creek-will report on my trip tonight. The rod will do its job and be fine !! All you have left to do, is get the NET!!!!! If you have one LOL :D PS how did you do at cc...Need to hear more fish stories :7 Maybe topwater?

I cant tell you about the loomis... but I know that the kistler will do just fine... I fish cumberland a ton in the winter months and have yet to have a problem with them cause it was to cold... heat will do more to the rod then cold.... call any of your rod bulders and they will tell you hot humide days are alot worse then cold ANY DAY.....

Well if it's on Dale and 28 degrees out then I would have my Float and Fly stuff out!!!!!!LOL.Those Glooms rods are stronger than they fill,all those big fish I have been getting on Ceder were on Loomes rods.You should have called me before you went to Ceder,I may have a new HOG hole located

The rod to watchout for is the H&H rod. Partner busted one the other day setting the hook. This isn't the first one he has heard of doing this. Luckily the warranty is very good. These are light rods maybe the lightest i have held and i really love a lightweight rod. Maybe the walls are too thin?
