RE: Open tourney on Tayorsville
Maybe this is the norm, but to me 70% payback seems a little low. Is this some sort of benefit tourney? If so, what charity/organization is the money being raised for? If not, where may I ask is the 30% going? I am not trying to start an argument or finger pointing, just curious. I am not a big tourney fisherman as of yet; and, I do not know that much about the expenses of running a tournament. It just struck me as a little low in the payback department.
Thanks.
Raising money for KIDs Events
The Salt River Strutters (NWTF) is raising money thru the tournament for Kids events or Jakes as they call them. They put on wonderful programs for kids teaching them fishing, hunting and much more. They are serious about getting kids involved in the outdoors. I would gladly donate the entry fee for the programs but this way I get to show you people how to catch bass. The more boats we get the more kids get to enjoy the outdoors.

Thanks Jerry for providing the info about the kids program. Sounds like a good cause. I will check my calendar and with my partner and see if he would want to fish it. What do you think Tiger?????
Thanks again.

Hope to see you guys there.
RE: Raising money for KIDs Events
A great cause and probably a good reality check after our trip to Ky Lake this week.

Which Tourney did you fish at Kentucky last week?
