RE: something besides BASS?
I don't know what you are looking for but In-fisherman puts out a magazine that is pretty good. Only problem is that it covers a wide variety of fish other than bass and generally uses techniques in the northern states. I have managed to use it information to catch a few more fish. Bassin also makes a pretty good magazine that is strictly bass fishing but its techniques generally target the deep southern states. Hard to find something that really pertains to Kentucky Lakes so I just kind of take info from both and put them together to help me here since we are right in the middle. Now if I could only get it to work .lol
You can pick up a copy of both a any Wal-Mart and check them out to see if that is what your looking for.
RE: something besides BASS?
Go to www.ebassin.com which is the magazine I am going back too as BASS magazine is not worth the money anymore. Use to be informative but now every article is a sales pitch for a name brand product. Just my .02.
RE: something besides BASS?
Ky Game and Fish is a pretty good magazine and it all pertains to the waters that we fish here in our home state. During dear season there are a lot more articles on hunting, but that is to be expected since so many outdoorspeople put down their rod in exchange for a bow or gun. Very informative and cheaper than BM. No other magazine goes anywhere near as far about our local lakes. I have been a subscriber for a few years now, ever since I noticed it on the stand. Like the others, this magazine can be picked up just about anywhere, but when I like a magazine I only have to pick up one because the subscriptions are far cheaper then buying single issues. Good read and good price. Two thumbs up.
