Where to go...
Got the day off tomorrow and was looking to go and do some fishin'. I live in louisville and dont want to drive all that far (an hour to an hour and a half). Any suggestions as to where I should go. I heard that Rough is way up nad muddy. Any one out ther have any info on Nolin, Guist, T-ville, Beaver, or Elkhorn? Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Where to go...
Looks like you're going to have a great day! Weather look perfect. I would hit Elkhorn. The flow on the North Fork looks good right now. It's at 177 cfs and dropping. Anything between 130-200 works well for a wade or float trip.
Good luck!

RE: Where to go...
Fished Rough (South Fork) yesterday for crappie from 8:00 am till 4:00 pm. Water was maybe 2 feet below summer pool and water temps were in the mid 50's. Lots of shad were active out in the middle of coves, creeks, and the river. Occassionaly saw a fish bust on shad, but that was about it. Crappie bite for us was few and far between although we did managed to bring home 15 really nice crappie.

RE: Where to go...
If taylorsville is back to winter pool I would try it, if its still falling I would go somewhere else.

RE: Where to go...
T-ville was very very difficult today. We bass fished for 3-4 hours and no fish. There were 50-75 boats in settlers trace parking lot. The lake was pretty crowded for a Thursday. Good Luck.

Saw a report on another site that said they were biting on Nolin pretty good earlier in the week on jigs and cranks. Said his biggest was a little over 5lb.
