NEW to the board and area
Just wanted to introduce myself to the board. I am new to the area and looking forward to fishing some of the waters around here. A couple of years ago I became addicted to fishing! I grew up doing alot of bank fishing with my father, after a few transfers (active duty) and a couple paygrades I purchased my first boat and discovered bass fishing!!! Enough of that I am here to learn and give what little knowledge i have or help anyone. I hope to make the float n fly weekend. I have been reading alot about it and see another area of my addiction that needs some money thrown its way.
IF any of you fish Dale Hollow regularly I hope to be there this weekend and am welcome to any advice on where to stay and launch out of. I look forward to meeting some of you. this board doesnt seem to be like others that are about bashing and talking down to newer or younger people that share the same hobby as them.

RE: NEW to the board and area
Jason,
Welcome to the area. You'll see me on the board from time to time. We are a large fishing store in Florence Kentucky and we're also a sponsor on the board. We sell everything for fishing and we're also one of the largest fishing boat dealers in the country. We'll be opening a Lake Cumblerland store in the spring, check out our website www.plapps.com, we have fishing seminars in the spring and fall. Our last big one is this week, check it out.
Welcome to KY.

Good to have you here Jason. Active duty? What branch?
Welcome to the board Jason!!!!
We're not perfect here, but we are all about having fun.
I look forward to hearing your tales of good fishing, and hope to learn something great from you.
I don't fish much in the winter... OK, I don't fish at all in the winter...LOL... so my fishing will be on hold now till the spring.
Have fun at the FNF get together, and if we have our spring/summer get together, I hope you can make that one too.
Tight lines and God Bless
Danny
