Heard a very good report from there the other day. Water in good shape with color and bite was good. Crankbaits off the points, especially points on ends of creeks. I wasn't there but this came from a reliable source.

Thanks! I will go read it!
Fished Nolin last Saturday 9 am to 4:30 pm caught 57 bass with nine keepers all but 2 fish caught on a drop bait. Mostly a jig.
Be carefull it's back at winter pool, if you dont know the lake at wax, it is dangerous!

Best day I have ever had at Nolin I guess as far as Number of Fish w/number of Keepers. I only caught 4 or 5 fish shorter than 12" is what is really different about the day. Only had 15 at 12 oclock. I just lucked into a pattern that was really working and the fish stacked up on certain structure. I caught 21 fish off of one bank in 1.5 hours (no keepers) and a couple times caught 4 fish in 4 cast off the same structure. It was fun gonna try it again tomorrow with a friend of mine be lucky to catch 5 tomorrow I bet.
Water has changed that much since last weekend, maybe we catch a few.
Well good luck to ya! At least you'll be out on the water if nothing else... more than I can say!
Way to go Mark! Sounds like you had a ball & I wish I could have been there with ya. I'm still deadlined from my back surgery but I'm hoping that I get cleared by the Doc next Wensday (I can't stand setting around the house anymore).

Please let me know how you do. If we can get a couple of warm days I will have to make the trip.
