Anyone tried these out? Does it work as good as a black light? They say they DON"T draw bugs is this so? Thanks for the info.

I purchased 2 at the BPS shop in Indiana. Looking forward to trying them out simply because they clip directly on the bill of your cap and they have a off/on switch that is easy to get to. I used to use the Black/Decker snake light that I would wrap around my neck but I do believe this will be better.
I bought the black light led clip-on from BPS and it works quite well. I see no use for the strobe feature but no big deal. The power button toggles between off/on/strobe. Used it for the tnt's out @ taylorsville last year and was satisfied with it. Doesn't really draw bugs, but it will make you see all the ones that are swarming around the boat, especially when you have your navigational lights on. It does make fluorescent blue line look like a white rope like a regular black light, but you have to have it pointing directly @ your line. In order to do this you may have to wear your hat brim a little lower than you normally do to keep the light pointed at the angle you're looking.
Love em, I don`t use it to replace a black light but I guess you could. It is a great thing to have it when you need it, Right at your fingertips and you won`t really feel it. It`s also good for re-tying and landing fish again it is right there, no fumbling around lookin for a light.
These things also come in handy at the boat ramp when it's 4:30 am and you're fiddlin' around trying to make sure you got all your stuff out of your truck and into your boat before launching.
