Re: Daylight Savings Time
On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to resume the 2005 Daylight Saving Time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete
Looking for any (TRUTH) to this info I received from Microsoft in an email.... Seems Microsoft has to have all their (PC STUFF) ready for the new change in the Start of Daylight Savings time. As per the new change by the Energy Savings Plan of 2005...The ***NEW*** Daylight savings time will start 3 weeks earlier on the 2nd sunday of March and end now with the 1st Sunday in November......
Anyone else heard of this info and could clarify.....
Thanks....
Looks like you are correct. Here is the info from Microsoft's website:

As a consumer user, you may just have to adjust the time manually. For businesses using things like their Microsoft Exchange Server, it might require more.
(This should probably be on one of the other boards)
Re: Daylight Savings Time
You are correct. If you google that question it give you the past years and days of the change and the years and the days for the next several years.

Don't know why it would upset anyone, those fishing tournaments, and those wanting to obey an daylight laws need to know these types of things. I wonder if the DNR has updated their day break schedules to represent the new time?
Re: Daylight Savings Time
I think they should adjust it 30 min and leave it the heck alone just my .02 cents might as well adjust the seasons by a month also.
