Dale Hollow Post Not For ( elnutsmalljaw )

Sorry guys I didn't get to post as quick as I was going to. I just upgraded to the new WINDOWS VISTA and have been fixing all the compatibility issues for the last 16 hours or so. I am going to like it after I get my programs within Windows working but getting there is a pain.

* Got on Dale Hollow at about 9:00 and left at 5:00.
* Fished Kyles Branch, Indian Creek, & Main Lake Points & Bluffs in
between.
* Fished different places Points, Bluffs, Pockets, Edge of Grass Beds from
the mouth of creeks to the back.
* Wind blew all day lake was white capping it would turn the boat around
during heavy gusts. Tough to cast FNF or anything small.
* Cold really Cold just ask my toes.
* Brite and sunny we fished mostly the shaded banks & a few with sun.
* My partner caught 1 (2-14) Smallmouth on small 1/8 ounce tail spinner.
* He had 1 smallmouth on a FNF that got off at boat, I had a Trout on
FNF hat got off at the boat, and between us we had 5 other pull downs
on FNF.

Tough day for both of us this is my 4th trip in a row with no fish. I would rather of fished and blanked than to have stayed at home and wished I had gone fishing. This slump wont last forever. The second post Im posting after this is per elnutsmalljaw request for a good Dale Hollow report even if I have to lie so he can fantasize about being there.

You got me, and I am now laughing my ass off. Hurting on the inside with every chuckle but laughing my butt off anyways. GOOD ONE.

Ok, I'm confused. Did you catch fish today or not?LOL!! I'm about to go out tomorrow and freeze my you know what off unless you're kidding in the other post!

This is the real post the other one was in reply to a post (elnutsmalljaw) sent me when I posted I was going to Dale Hollow Saturday the 3rd. He said to say we done well even if we didnt so he could lie there in his bed and think about how good he would be doing if he was there.

Thanks, I guess I'll just wait until Thursday. Supposed to be in the 40s then and cloudy. I've yet to get a good bite going on the fnf. Had a few fish here and there but the jig has been best for me lately. We fished yesterday and had one on the fly and the rest on jigs. It was tough! 8 fish in all. 4 over 4lbs but we caught 5 from 8-10 and not another until 430. Here's some pics of the largest. My dad caught 2 nice ones. I caught a lm by some stroke of luck.

Excellent pictures! Some how or another seeing these pictures of winter-time fishing tends to warm me up in some way.
