Has anyone here been to the Owensboro Boat Show? I think it's Feb. 9th - 11th. Just wondering if it's worth the drive from BG? Is it all boats or do they have tackle as well?

I live in O'boro and the boat show seems to get better every year. My brother- in- law works the boat show circut and has stated that for a small boat show O'boro has done a real good job. There are several booths along with a nice look at the new boats and motors.
There is no such thing as a wasted trip to Owensboro, just stop by Moonlite BBQ
Hey Bobberdown,
I've been to the boat show. I personally would drive from bowling green for it. It nice. Theres alot of information available and plenty of exhibits and booths. Plan for all day when you go. If you looking for a good engine man look up Mitch from Halls Marine. Tell him stirsman sent you... As far as I'm concerned hes probley the best Merc. Engine man in the state. As gar said earlier Moonlight BBQ is good, but Ol' Hickory BBQ is also really good. Theres plenty to do in Owensboro. THe parking at the Excecitive in may be a problem now, not really sure, it was posted down toward the riverpark end of the Inn. So I'd get there early or just hope for a good parking spot unless the expo has made arrangments for parking. ITs definatley worth your trip. or has been in the past
****GOD BLESS****
Hay Bobberdown a lot of good reports on OBS all true but no said if there was any tackle booth. They all a lot of tackle displays. Like Jig & Pig said a lot to do and see. You are about 15 miles farther away than I am maybe see you there.
Last year there was about four or five tackle booths. Don't have a clue how many there will be this year. Plan to go Sun. and find out. I agree with Jig and Pig, you can't beat Old Hickory or Moonlight. If your real hungry try the Moonlight Buffet.
what are the hours of the show?
