BassCat boats
BassCat boat won the JD powers award again today for the 3rd time in as many years. They have only participated in the Program for 3 years. Pretty impressive. Also mercury and Evinrude tied for best Outboard Motor. Just thought you all might like to know.

Re: BassCat boats
Basscats are real nice boats, made well, look good and ride good. They have just about anything you would want on a bass boat. But good Lord, the pirces are outrageous. The $55-56,000 Basscat you all had at the Louisville show? And to think, 5-10 years ago hardly anyobdy knew about Basscat and they had been around since the 70's, I think. Who can afford them these days???
I also saw a "used" Ranger for $50,000 at another dealership. Seems to be a bit out of hand these days. Guess I will have to keep my "old" 99 model boat a few more years.

Re: BassCat boats
Wow, i never would have guessed that. I'm not in the market for a fiberglass boat but i am always interested in new technologies and top of the line equipment. What makes the Basscat such a front runner now after being almost off the radar in most bass boat conversations (at least in my circle of bass fishing friends)? I ask this with respect not digging at ya.

Gw,
Do what my buddy did and finance it for as long as possible! He said he knows he'll be gone by the time it's paid off...lol. He said his life insurance can pick up the rest of the payments.

CTFSHWHISKER,
Yeah, yeah, I know.......I'll go ahead and get one, and while I'm at it I think I'll order a Fountain 42' Lightning with twin 900SC motors so I can run at 114 mph up and down Ky Lake......that way I'll have a BassCat and an A$$Cat...:)
