Dale Hollow Increased Fishing Pressure
Do you think all the extra Tournaments on Dale, as a result of Cumberland, will have any effect on the fish?
The BFL moved to Sunset from Conley on March 3'rd. The BFL will in turn fish again on the 24'th of March.
That plus all the plasure boaters.....It's going to be busy on Dale this yr.

Re: Dale Hollow Increased Fishing Pressure
You make a great point Billy, Dale Hollow's proximity to Cumberland is going to make it a target, not just for tournaments and other anglers, but for pleasure boaters as well.
Re: Dale Hollow Increased Fishing Pressure
Maybe if we all pitch in for some advertising, we could get the Ohio Navy to move there and the rest of us could enjoy Cumberland.
Re: Dale Hollow Increased Fishing Pressure
Hey Billy,
I'll try and take it easy on them LOL!!!! Its a good thing I ended up not going to the big C this past weekend.
Re: Dale Hollow Increased Fishing Pressure
You can keep the Ohio navy on Cumberland and off of Dale.

Just watch Billy it will make a big diff. in the fishing this summer it will come down to the night bite to get the good smallies--opps watch out Ohio people for them green and red bouys lol
Re: Dale Hollow Increased Fishing Pressure
I just hope all the Cumberland fishermen will find the lakes like Barren, Nolin, GRL, Rough, etc. before they get over to KY Lake. With all the big tournaments on KY, like last year where there was a pro tournament about every weekend, one could hardly find an open point or an sunken island to fish. And if you did find one, someone usually discovered a new spot that they didn't know about and circled you until you left.
Weekdays weren't too terribly bad, and am thinking seriously of heading down this week. Depends on a few things.
Nice to see Billy got a boat. I've never fished Dale, but have driven around it, and I've never seen any shoreline fishing egresses.
Good luck,
Danny

Billys got a boat? Do tell,What are we in?
Re: Dale Hollow Increased Fishing Pressure
It's all but gauranteed that Dale will see more pressure than usual this year...from both fisherman and pleasure boaters. As for the Ohio Navy...why in the heck can't they find a place in Indiana or even Ohio? Oh well...not gonna give them to much crap, after all they boost the local economy.

Nope that wont work, I've already told them on lc.com that the good-ole boys from the hills would be workin all the ramps and parkin lots to see what they can FIND.
Just leave the Ohio Navy where it is !
Re: Dale Hollow Increased Fishing Pressure
I don't see anywhere in my posts indicating that I have a boat...LOL!!!!
Maybe I need glasses.....
