staying at a econo lodge coming down from Dale Hollow with a couple guides from here, so which bait and tackel will give me the best advice, first timer to your town and water,

a bass boat and a golf course --- hmmmmmmmm....doesn't sound like a pretty picture .... why would you leave DH for Guntersville ---could it be that you can probably catch up to a 100 LM on a trap this time of year??? let us know how yo do...tight lines....

If it's still warm when you're here start in 2 feet of water with a lipless rattling bait. If you find one ... you'll usually find several in the area. If it cools off some ... start in 7 feet of water with lipless baits and jekbaits. They'll still be stacked up there too. If they stop biting switch to a Senko. If no luck at that depth start working shallower and keep the trolling motor on, until you find a fish. Watch your temp guage as much as your depthfinder. Get a big 'un!
