The bite is starting to pick up. Water temps are up to 50 and it's time to catch 'em. The lake is very clear and most of the banks are clay and shale. They're are some largemouths, but smallies dominate. I just posted a report from yesterday on http://www.easttennesseefishing.com/. Not many people fish it on here.....
Good Luck,
Jon
If you go up into the islands near the dam, be sure and pay attention to where you are. It's easy to get lost if you are not familiar with the lake.
You might get lucky if you fish the banks and creeks along the river up toward Virginia.

I really hope you don't get lost....... It's not a third of the size of Cherokee or Douglas.....................
