Barren River..any Luck??

I Got A Tournament This Weekend At Barren River And I Have Never Been There??any Suggestions???

these people can't help you. do you know who your up against. lol. we'll be more than proud to accept your donations. all kinding aside, we haven't fished barren this year either so i cant tell ya where to go. what i do know is that the water is low and it will be very dangerous out there so be careful running across the lake. it looks deep but watch your depth finder. very easy to run your boat out of the water. good luck to you and steve hope yall do well. glad yall decided to fish with us this year.

Not sure of the water conditions, it has warmed up considerably though, 64 degrees has been seen in some places. There has been some good quality fish caught this week, couple of guys in our club has had some 5 and 6 lbers.
This cold front may slow the bite some, you know we had to have a cold front, cause our club is fishin sat. too !
I know this don't help much, but I did hear shadraps and spinnerbait mentioned !

couple of my buddies went down sunday and missed 6 but couldnt get one in the boat,all on shaky heads and jigs,imagine that

I was on Barren Tuesday and Wednesday, the water temps were in the low 50's in the morning and high 50's later in the day. This was around the Narrows Marina, to close to the state dock. The water is a little dingy, from recent rains. If you don't like the color of the water in your area, just head up in a creek and I'm sure it is changing up in the headwaters and probably a little warmer too. Its slightly clearing up in the main lake area but just takes a while. Stay close to the channels when you can, Barren is probably right on track for being this low this time of year but the last few years its probably been a little higher right now. Good luck.
