Geist Info for first trip of the year

Hi everyone,

Just getting ready to take the boat out for the first time and was wondering how the fishing on Geist was. I am interested in any water temps that have been taken most of all. Thanks for any info you can share, I haven't been down that way for 4 years! I moved North and have been smallie fishing Lake Michigan mostly, just want to take out my son somewhere that is a little warmer right ow than up here:)

Last Saturday had 44-47 degrees with about 80% of the lake murky to muddy. pockets of clearer water to be had here and there. Fish to be caught if you work at it, though I would think things will only improve as the temps start increasing and the mud starts settling.

Thanks for the info! Most of our lakes still have ice on them and lake michigan is 36 degrees so those temps are hot!
