What part of Ky Lake are you going to? If its the dam area I would probably come to Lexington and hit the BG parkway. If I was going to Cadiz area or south I would probably research the Cumberland Parkway way. I have never been to Ky Lake via Cumberland so I'm not sure what all you'll have to encounter. It seems like it would be better than spending almost an hour getting to the BG Pkwy. I live at Clays Ferry area in Fayette Co and go BG Pkwy because I fish the dam area
Mapquest is your answer
Or Google maps..

cut & past the above link... what happened to the handy dandy link thingy??
Im headed to Aurora. Just wondered if you can save any time going through Hopkinsville and just going 68. Last time I went BG parkway it beat the crap out of my trailer. thanks
I always go 68/80. The road is in good shape with a new by pass around Russellville. You can by pass Hopkinsville, but it is just as fast to go straight thru.
Dido, take 68/80 and go straight on thru Russellville. Better roads and just as fast, if not faster, as taking the BG parkway.
bg parkway to etown, wk parkway to pennyrile parkway. Hit pennyrile towards hoptown, take the first hoptown exit. Take a left and go approx 4 miles, take a right on 68/80.... go straight.. when u cross the 68 bridge over barkley u will see the signs for aurora....
I have tried it both ways, the wk is much better than it used to be, but the bg will be a little bumpy. there is no doubt this is the quickest way.
good luck
