i caught one on a BUZZBAIT!!

caught my first buzzbait fish this year tuesday evening at a smaller lake. the girlfriend and i caught 11 in about two hours with the biggest being almost 19 inches. but the real fun was getting one on a buzzbait in march. doesnt happen much here in southern ohio!!!! i was pumped!

Awesome! Not nearly as unusual as that, but I caught my first ever fish on an X-Rap Sunday. I've been carrying one for almost 2 years, but haven't tried it a lot.

speaking of xrap. I used one in our first tournament at Rough River last year. I wasn't sure how productive it was going to be but to my surprise I caught some nice keepers on it. We won that tourney and I was hooked on it ever since.

Man i love that way of fishing! Were they sucking it under or jumping all over it? Either way it's a blast.....

most of our catches came this week on a buzz close to wood with late afternoon sun. it makes it that much more exciting to have such an early top water bite!!!

You guys think they will hit a buzz tomorrow morning?? i am headed out fishin at taylorsville and wondering if i should give one a try???
