Lodging on Cumberland River
Planning to visit in late May and again in in early July and I'm looking for a place to stay on the river with river access on site or nearby; somewhere between Burkesville and the Tennessee state line. I need accomidations for 4 and it doesn't have to be the Hilton. Any one have any suggestions?
Re: Lodging on Cumberland River
There is a place called the Traces on the Cumberland right outside of Burkesville right on the river. Check out the Cumberland River fishing report and there is a link to there website. I haven't stayed there, but I've been buy it a hundred times and it looks very nice. I think they have a house for rent.
Re: Lodging on Cumberland River
Traces on the Cumberland is a great place for you to stay. I've stayed there numerous times and will be staying down there again over derby weekend. The have a little lodge you can stay at that has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath and a kitchen area. I believe some of the bedrooms have multiple beds in them and the price per night is good as well. It also has its own ramp on site for the river and great fishing right there.
Re: Lodging on Cumberland River
I live here in Burkesville, my wife is a listing agent, with rental weekend property.
I will give you some help if she cant arrange for some housing for you.
When Im not fishing I work at the pro shop at Dale Hollow state Park, would you be interested in a cabin type setting for 2 families...
Re: Lodging on Cumberland River
My group will consist of myself , my 11 year old son, my adult friend and his 10 year old boy. We need something that sleeps 4 (1 bedroom with pull out or a 2 bedroom); a kitchen with frig would be great. I'm fine working with an agent. Let me know what's available. Thanks.

traces would be the perfect place for you then... its like 99 bucks a night for 4 people and has plenty of room for you plus free launching for your boat
