White Bass on Nolin River
I am planning a trip to Nolin River Lake this weekend. I have read some about a white bass run that occurs in the spring in the headwaters of Nolin where they feed on topwater in boils. Dose anyone have any info on this run and if has happened yet? Any other Nolin info would be appreciated as well!
Thanks!
Re: White Bass on Nolin River
The white bass run is usually at the end of march or early in april when the lakes are at winter pool. I'm sure there will still be some pretty good numbers upstream for a decent bite though.

Seen them before as well on Nolin, the smallest bait possible thrown into the jumps works best... Something like a little Geroge, Spoon of some type, possibly a count down Rapala bait as small as you can throw. G/L:)
