Hey Ctfshwhisker
How did you do Sunday at the tournament, tried to look you up, but had no luck, and my son was ready to go. We only caught two, pulled up on a spot with 20 minutes to weigh in, and caught both fish within ten minutes of each other, if we would of found that spot earlier we would of loaded the boat, the spot had a ton of fish on it, we caught at least 10 in 15 minutes, all around 14-1/2" and fat, my son caught the only keeper about 2-1/2 lbs, and lost another one that shook his hook that was at least that big, or bigger, and I lost one about the same size on a shakey head, still have a hard time setting the hook good with those small hooks.

Re: Hey Ctfshwhisker
I have a little aluminum G3 with a 60 yamaha. Yea we caught about 20 small 12-14-5/8" bass, just couldnt get on the big ones, until the very last minute, where we couldnt really fish it good. It's really a shame the next tournament isnt for another 7 weeks, thats a long time to wait. Will look you up at the next tournament. I am thinking about taking my son to the Fairdale Firefighters Crusade tournament. He is 14 an ate up with fishing, lot worse than i ever was, which i am very grateful for, it keeps him out of trouble. Sorry to ramble, will see you the 24th of June. Bob
