I fished 3 years in the BFL Hoosier Divison with some sucess. I have also fished quite a few buddy tournaments from the back of the boat. The best advise I can give you is to be patient and to fish outside the box. You are welcome to email me for more details at
go to www.kybassfed.com That is the Kentucky Bass Federation's website. They have that format. I have fished it for that last 4 years and enjoy it. If you would like more specific questions answered send me an email to
Also check out the Ky Bass Fed Nation, at kybassnation.com. They are a boater/non boater format also. The non boaters only compete against the non boaters. So it makes an even playing field. Both the Kbfn and KBF are great clubs to be in and you can learn a lot as both have some great fisherpeople in them. I fish some tournys on both circuts. Good luck and always remember to just fish your strengths.
I fished BASS Elite Series as a Co-Angler on Guntersville and found this link very helpful. Several other links at the bottom of this article as well. Good luck.
