green river

i went out sat night with the bow had a great time the carp were out in good numbers there were 3 or more togeather at a time. saw some well over 30 lbs did not get a shot off. but all the spots we went to there were so many shad it was hard to see the bottom at times. it was kwel lost track how many fish we got. i got lights and a generator so night time bowfishing is no problem.
did see alot of really big small mouth and large mouth. so know i cant say there are not any big bass in that lake i was suprised

Which area of the lake did you find smallmouth? I've been trying to get on some over there and others I've talked to haven't been catchin any smallies either. I've been fishing mainly around the state ramp, ramp 1, and Butler Creek.

its up river from ramp one a bit alot of people call it the flats. you use to see lots of people crappie fishing in that area i dont have my map with me sorry
