Anybody been to Rough??

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck on hybrids or bass????? Havent been down in 3 weeks and looking forward to this weekend.

Fished two tournaments down there this weekend...didn't do so hot. Caught lots of shorts, but the bigger fish were hard to come by. I concentrated on fishing deeper, when I think they wern't there yet. Lost two good fish in 3-6' of water...that should have told me to stay shallower but I'm hardheaded.

But man we caught 3 or 4 good hybrids on top and on a carolina rig! Back in Tules Creek out on a point there were hybrids busting everywhere. Caught a few on pop-r's, had to leave that spot because it was taking too much time to catch and release those suckers while trying to catch a few green heads. Anyway goodluck.

Was there last weekend. had 3 good keepers, two 16s one 17, several slot fish and one over 6lbs. Did not try hybrids but saw some bust, just stayed on the bass as I was finally on them.Why can this not happen during a tourney.Water is stiil down a little but there is a lot of good cover and the fish are hungry there also. Yeah, my cabin is on Tules Creek, how far back were they????
