BFL All American
Did any of you guys make it down there last weekend to watch it? Apparently, Deer creek produced well, the winner ran all the way down to Deer and caught winning bag in a couple of hours. What are the chances of the All American coming back to our own backyard again. :(

Re: BFL All American
They will be like BASS and not come back in my opinion. They didnt have the spectacular 15 or 20 lbs per day weigh in that they build up for the cameras.
Those boys struggled all week just like the BASS boys did back in the 80's. 16 lbs for 3 days is pretty weak on the river this time of year. It took 17 lbs to win a 9 hour tournament there just yesterday

Re: BFL All American
The Corps locked them out of the upper pool, which is where a lot of them had been prefishing. Threw that on them in the pre-tournament meeting on Tuesday night. Goodwin (the winner) had planned to lock up river and had to change his strategy at the last minute.
The Louisville pool just doesn't have enough quality fish. The leader going into the final day blanked fishing back in Harrods Creek, he had been there all three days and I think he must of ran out of fish. BTW, his name is Calvin Davidson, from Plainfield, IN.
