Ky & Barkley Lake / Dave Stewart
We were scheduled to fish with Dave Stewart on Ky / Barkley lake last week on Friday. Due to bad weather we were not able to spend a lot of time on the lake but Dave was able to get us out on the water and squeeze a few hours in before the bad weather started blowing in. I have fished with numerous guides on different lakes and one other guide (other then Dave) on Ky Lake and while they have all been nice people not one has provided the level of service that Dave Stewart has provided to us on our numerous trips with him. He is professional and courteous and takes the time to help you become a better fisherman. He went so far as to give my partner and I several specific lures that had been producing because the local tackle shops were out. He also took the time to mark up our maps for us following the trip providing us with some specific areas to target even though we knew he would fishing with clients over the next few days while we would be there. There aren't a lot of guys out there that would do that.
I am confident that there are several great guides on KY and Barkley but Dave will always be my first choice in the future. If you have never been out with him I would strongly recommend you give him a call if you are considering a guided trip on Ky & Barkley.
Re: Ky & Barkley Lake / Dave Stewart
Thanks for the kind words. I enjoyed the morning with you guys and wished the bad weather had not run us off the lake...as it turned out the weather got better later in the day but of course those winds were nasty with that line of storms coming in and many places reporting 60 mph winds was definitely enough to get us to safety. Glad you guys had a good time and looking forward to seeing you again down the road.
