I am coming down to fish Sunday night and Monday night. I will be going out of Star point. I am not looking for locations just general info. Are the fish in the grass, deep or shallow, points or flats thanks for any help. I have some family coming up from Florida that has never caught a smallmouth and I would love to see them have a good trip. Thanks for any help, I will post when I get back.

I talked to Steve Headrick this morning and he said the fishing has been a little slow, as it usually is between the full and new moon, but with the new moon being tomorrow the next 14-15 days or so should be real good. Main lake points and secondary points just up inside the creeks with Smallies in about 23 feet of water with Jigs. Good Luck, I will be down for 3 nights next week myself taking out of Holly or Hendricks every night fishing mid lake.
Yea, if Big C isnt on, I may take my buddy to Dale Sunday nite and Monday morning as well. Hearing the grassy flats are supposedly hot and elnuts said, secondary points, 20-25ft.
