Re: Louisville area tomorow
Might need to try a 5" worm instead of a 7. But when you feel the tap tap tap of the fish on the other end, you usually wind up any slack line you might have out and rear back and set the hook.... Should work, maybe try a 1/0 hook to see if it's just smaller fish messing around with the tail of the worm also. Might even just try a inline Mepps Spinner or Rooster Tail.
Re: Louisville area tomorow
yeah i tried to throw some in-lines but no takes, the only thing i was getting a hit on were the worms....
Re: Louisville area tomorow
I actually saw a guy catch a keeper-size bass at Fisherman Park pond #3 the other day...
Re: Louisville area tomorow
Ended up going to the Falls of the Ohio for about 1 1/2 hrs. The action was slow, didnt notice any others having luck either. I got a few hits on a nightcrawler on bottom and caught one small, 1 pd drum. Saw several large tails swirling about in the river, looked like catfish tails. River is awfully low, when I put a bobber on, I could tell the river was no deeper than 2-3 ft deep about 50 ft out where I was fishing.
