Good Year Marathons is what came on my Ranger trailer and what I replaced them with when they had reached the end of their tread life. No complaints from me. If you are in Lexington I would recommend giving Redneckshadrap a call and see what price he can give you. He gave me a good deal when I purchased mine.
Thanks for the reply

I second that, no other trailer tire really!
There are several other brands of tires available for trailers, but none as good or as well known as the Marathons. Goodyear kind of has the market cornered on this on. Carlisle is another brand, but all I ever heard about that brand is how they blew out a bunch. Bad reputation to say the least.
Marathon's are a 6 ply tire with a load rating C I believe which is more then adequate for a boat trailer.

Have to agree with Mark. I've sold a few to some posters.

Goodyear Marathons all the way...
Is Goodyear Marathon available in smaller sizes like 4.80x12 or 5.30x12? If not, any suggestions on other brands and where to buy in Lexington? Is Wal-Mart brand any good? I have a set of 4.80x8 on a small EZ-Load trailer that I want to change to a bigger size. Thanks in advance for any help?
I don't believe that the Goodyear Marathon is available in those smaller sizes...radial construction only I do believe.

The Carlisle brand isn't bad for those smaller sizes. You can get the Carlisle USA Trail in a 4.80x12 or 5.30x12.

I'd buy them from Redneckshadrap. ;)
MrSplitshot, thanks for your reply and the information.
