Anybody catching any at night......
With the moon being full they usually will not bite. I catch a few here and there when the moon is out. Wait another week and the bite will pick up. The darker the night the better fishing for trout. I don't know why, but any time it is bright out at night I never have any luck. I always watch the moon phases before I decide to go. Nightcrawlers and wax worms work the best for me.
Thanks 24/7. I fish Laurel several times per year. Not as much now as I did when I was at college @ EKU. I can remember limiting out in 1 hour back in the "good ole days". Always on corn. Was there last Sat. night in our "spot". Usually there are 5-6 boats in the same area. That night, nobody was fishing. Seemed kind of odd.....Thanks for the info, see you on the water.
