you can use a drift sock or take a plastic grain bag and put some sand it and hang it over the back,probably just weight in the back in general would help.Your weight is lifting the back of the boat so you have no drag back there,storing all your stuff in the back will help too.

A buddy of mine had the same problem. He went and got a 3/16 " to 1/4" thick piece of Sheet Steal and cut one out and welded a bracket to it so he could attach it to his stern when he got out on the water. Worked great, just take a grinder and knock some of the rough spots off the edges, so you don't accidently rub against it and get cut....:)
