Boltz Lake 7-20

I caught a Hawg Friday morning instead of being here at work.
I took my daughter to Boltz Lake near Dry Ridge Ky. I caught 5 bass,
2 were keepers, one went 5.5 lbs. 22", caught it on a 10" Berkley Powerworm, Purple. Bass fishing was slow. Water temps 80 degrees. Clarity 3-4'. The others were caught on watermelon zoom finesse worm, shakey head. My big fish for the year so far. Previous was 3.66lb. My daughter caught 15 bluegills, 2 crappie, and a channel cat all on waxworms.

Glad you and your daughter had a great day and sounds as if she had one heck of a day catching quite a few fish... When the fish are biting kids love it and hard to get them off the water...... Nuttin like taking a kid fishing......:)
