Re: Louisville Cell service?
I would recommend you look at T-Mobile. We have been with one of those major guys whose name seems to change every two years and any time you encountered a problem it was indeed your problem. We switched to T-Mobile and their customer service has been fabulous. Their prices are competitive as well.
Best of luck to your daughter on her educational pursuits!!

Re: Louisville Cell service?
Verizon. Not the CHEAPEST, but by far, the BEST. I've used everything, and Verizon has the best coverage.
I use my phone at Dale, KY Lake, Nolin, Cumberland, Patoka, Dogwood, etc, etc.
I also used my phone 50 miles up the Gunflint Trail in Minnesota, and it worked FINE. No other phone service, and No one in my fishing group has better coverage. In fact, pretty much everyone uses my phone when we're on the lake.

Re: Louisville Cell service?
yes bluegrass will get ya when you are out of area. i work in louisville that is why i changed. i have had t-mobile great service no complants then changed over to nextel even better but if you dont know people on next tel not worth the money.
Re: Louisville Cell service?
Does Verizon work better than Bluegrass in rural areas?
Re: Louisville Cell service?
I havent seen anything better than Cingular myself. I have buddies that have different ones and cingular seems to be the best.
Re: Louisville Cell service?
Cingular seems to have the best reception as far as my experience.
Re: Louisville Cell service?
I've been with verizon for years with no problems, great coverage, no roam or ld charges, and have had service where my buddies with cingular, nextel/sprint & toliet mobile lost service.
Re: Louisville Cell service?
I have to agree with Cingular, I use to work for Verizon and I still used Cingular for my private cell service!!!
Re: Louisville Cell service?
I had Verizon for 7 years and never had any real problems. Switched the Cingular about 4 months ago because they were cheaper and all of my friends had their service. Well, I know now why they were cheaper---there service is horrible. I drop calls all of the time and that's right here in Louisville. Don't even think you can get service on the lakes. If it keeps up, I will be looking for another service soon.
Re: Louisville Cell service?
verizon or t-mobile. battled with them all and those are the only two worth a darn. WHATEVER you do, stay away from sprint.
Re: Louisville Cell service?
Thanks
I guess I'm spoiled with Bluegrass cell here at home, All the big guys have no service 2 miles off I-65 here in the boonies!
