Anyone been to Nolin?

Taking a friend down to Nolin Saturday morning for some stress relief for him, God only knows how much he needs it, lost pretty much everything, because of a crazy woman, and i mean everything. Has anyone caught any in the mornings down there? Thought about starting around Moutadier(sp?) with a buzzbait, the maybe some deep bluff walls around wax as the suns strarts to rise. Might even run to my favorite point around Brier Creek if nothing else happens. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thats one of the benefits of fishing, it does take your mind off of your problems, even if its just a couple hours on the lake. Thanks

I have been the last two Saturday's fishing the Sat morning tournament out of Wax. Last week was rough, we let our slot out before riding back to the ramp. The week before we caught several but nothing to write home about.

My partner caught a few on a buzz bait two weeks ago but that bite quit about 7:30ET. I tried the buzz bait this week, no luck.

I haven't been for at least a month. My dad and uncle went out last saturday and had some luck with buzzbait and a propbait (surface). Caught a few as late as 9:30 am. Nothing huge but bass none the less.

I was there a couple weeks ago and caught several fish on a deep diving crank bait. Around 12 feet. We had 3 or 4 around 16 inches. I started throwing it early and stayed with it all day.
