Can anyone recommend an inexpenseive place to stay on Cumberland? Going Thanksgiving week-end, just looking for a place to sleep, shower, and maybe find a cup of coffee in the mornings.

Partial to Pinehurst Lodge myself:

Here's one that's very inexpensive and close to Conley Bottom. www.camplinsretreat.com.
Alligator Inn is clean and inexpensive. Little country store about mile away that is open very early and does a killer breakfast. Folks at Inn can tell you name and directions.
Thanks do you have a number or web site for this Inn.

You didn't say what part of the lake you wanted to be on, big lake???
I'm flexable, coming from Knoxville area and would like to catch some fish. Was there several years ago with Nancy guide service in Wolf Creek, don't know much else about the lake. Just hoping that the bite is on, because it seems like I always should have been here last week...lol.
Is there an area that I should not think about due to ramp issues? Will launch each day, I guess

Man, if I lived in Knoxville and wanted to fish Thanksgiving I sure would be on Norris rather than Cumberland.
I am a home builder and Cumberland is farther away..lol
