Creek conditions
The initial buzz about the pollution of Elkhorn has dropped off a little bit. At last report, I think Billy said that it has setteled in the bottom of town branch and hasn't reached the South Fork and so on, yet. I know we haven't got much rain, but is this still the condition? Is there any other update or word from someone on this situation? Thanks.

Re: Creek conditions
I fished the north fork ,east of georgetown saturday and caught a boat load. There wasnt much size but caught alot of smallies 8 to 10 range. The creek was alive with action and plastic worm was gettin bumped about every cast. I have not seen this much action in a while.

The creeks will come up some with this rain. Not as much as needed. The branch in question got a small drink. I think it will stir it up a little, but it won't be enough to send it downstream. We are getting ready for another round of rain though.
I've venture down to the North Fork behind the house later on tonight.

So is the concern for 'ruining' this fishery with this instance gone away? Or is it really just a matter of time and weather that will be the igniting factor that lets us all know what will happen? Anyways, i'd like to be able to stay updated on it. To some of us, that watershed is very important.

Ruining it? No...
Stinking? Maybe a little.
Hopefully Ma Nature and Father Time teamed up in time to minimize the whole thing....

Re: Creek conditions
yea hopefully it is all resolved, in the best way possible, whatever that may be.
