Barren or Green...

I've got to get out on the water before I go insane... anybody been on Barren or Green this week? Anybody heard anything about the bite?

Fished Barren a couple of hours yesterday. An absolutely beautiful fall evening on the water. Caught a skinny 12" smallie and a 16" green chunk, both in about 14 ft of water on a jig. Cranked the shallows with no luck. It's slow right now, best chances to catch black bass is daybreak and nightfall right now, but that'll change soon enough. The crankbait bite is just around the corner.

I heard that Rough is on fire. I will let you know tomorrow night. I'm headed down in the morning.
