This is the time of year to get them in the upper lake, even better when the lake is low, they are still really deep from a walleye standard but they are there. I do not know who stocked them in the first place but they are there.

I think they might have been here since the lake was impounded. You do know that it is fed by a river and the sauger are native to the cumberland.
