Re: Green River Lake HELP.
I fished there yesterday from 8-2 for crappie. I caught 50-60 on char. tube jigs in 1/16oz. The fish where off the creek channels in about 12-16' of water, fishing 11-15' deep. I just used my depth finder to find any "large" structure and fished it slowly. I started in 25' of water and moved in till I found them. Take your time and read the structure and you will find them, look for something that is different from the obvious structure. Have fun and enjoy the time with your son.
Re: Green River Lake HELP.
Coming out of Lone Valley, go to where the cut through is to the Taylor County Ramp. On each side of the cut through there are some brush piles. They are on this side, so you don't have to cross over to the other side. With the low water, they may be in around 20 ft. There is also a stump field across from the Holmes Bend ramp that can be drifted effectively at times. Hope this helps, good luck and have fun.
