If you're fishing from an aluminum boat, there's a private ramp over on the Indiana side you can use, it's only a 1/4 mile or so below the dam. Assuming that you're on the Kentucky side, you would turn right from the bridge, then go west till you see a small trailer park on the left. There's a drop box for your $5 fee.
$10.00 on weekends
Put in @ Craig's Creek above the dam and lock thru no charges takes about 20 Min.
