For those of you that might be interested

As some of you know I moved from Lexington to South Carolina. I have been fishing the closest water available which is Santee Cooper lakes and the Cooper river. We are experiencing a drought here in the south and most of the lakes are pretty low. I know that some of you guys have fished Santee in the past. I thought I would include a few recent pictures from the lake to give you an idea. Some of the pics are over a month old. Now the lake is down approx 8' and very dangerous to run around on. Out of 25 public landing on both lake there is only 3 or 4 open now.

Some wild looking stuff, can you still fish the canal between the lakes?

Yea, you can still fish in the canal. One of the launches still open is on the canal. You can run the main channel and get to places to fish but its kinda scary to see what you have been running over. There still is some deep creeks on the upper lake you can launch in fish there too.
