Who would be interested?

O.k guys im not the best organizer in the world but i think this would be fun.Who on this board or in the surrounding states would be interested in a secret santa lure or fishing related exchange?How it would work is anyone who is interested p.m me there forum name,real name and address and by the deadline date,lets say december 1st.On the second ill send out a name to everyone in and thats who youll get to send too.Lets make it a 10.00 min. on gifts.Could be a lure or 2 or a box of stuff you dont use anymore.These do not have to be new.I will try to send out different names to people i havent seen talked to each other on here or something along those lines so you could meet a new friend also.Or if a better organizer wants to take the list and give the names out,that would be fine also.All involved please send one out so nobody who sends is left with nothing.This will be honor system only and to be fair to all i will place all the forum names, on this post to keep accountability the best we can.Ive seen this on other boards and it looks fun.If anyone else has anything to add or knowledge on this at all,please voice your opinion.If theres enough responce or interest in this how bout we do it?John.

Again if anyone puts there name on the list please send your gift.You will be someones secret santa and you will receive a gift.It would be pretty crappy if they did not recieve one back.I thought it sounded fun too dc and i know most of us have some good stuff they will probaly never use.So its not charity it give exchange.Maybe a moderator can get involved it this and sticky it to the top and rename it Santa list or something?If theres interest that is,if not thats fine.You in dcbasser?

Alright DJD thanks.Hope more folks get interested as the days go by.When do you think we should get all gifts sent out by?If in the end we get an uneven number ill send out two packages.This doesnt even have to be an out of pocket expense guys,get creative.If you make lures thats great,share them.If you have a box of lures you dont use much,pick a few out.Got 5 zillion soft baits,wrap a few packs up.Be generous or give what you can afford or thinks fair.No big deal.In the end i hope there will be no complaints and plenty of thank yous.And noone gets stiffed which i dont see happening on here.

Count me in. The only thing that you might add is the person to put down what they fish for most that way you can possibly hit what they might use.

I was thinking last night,that once we get all the names instead of me picking the names ill put them in a bowl and let my boys pair folks up.Remember if your in send me your info and if you already did and didnt put what you fish for most post it here or send it to me.Thanks John.
