Cland today 11/26
only fished for about 2 hrs today - high skies with variable wind. water temps 57-59. fished midlake. graphed little to no bait. caught 2 -> 18 in smallie on a jigging spoon in a brush pile and a 11 in spot in another brush pile (football jig). little to no boat traffic. beautiful on the lake right now - water is gin clear despite 2+ in of rain yesterday. heading back out on thurs for little longer excursion.

no problem, glad you find the posts useful. forgot the camera today and the fella i was fishing with was upset as this was his biggest smallie (~3.5#). back at it on thursday -> hope to find more fish as the day is supposed to be cloudy in the am. let me know if there is other info that you would find helpful.

UYKY,
Did you see any signs of turnover happening? When do you guys think it will happen there?

i saw lots of suspended leaves that appeared to be "off the bottom" i think it is occurring now. a friend thinks it already occurred. what do you all use as a reliable indicator of the turnover ?

Go to the tail water. If it smells like $i!!, the lake is turning over. Works every time!
