Ohio River near Louisville
Is it even worth my time to try and fish some where along the bank on the Ohio near Louisville right now or should I just be patient and wait for it to drop back down. I usually fish it when it is at 25' or lower around the interpretive center and do OK, but i have no idea if there is anywhere that is productive during this higher water.

I think all bets are off until the water comes back down. I know I aint going out there.
Re: Ohio River near Louisville
we fished this past saturday and only caught two fish. it was high and very muddy with a lot of trash. there was ten or so of us there and only maybe 6 fish caught form 8 am to around 2 or 3 pm. my advice is too wait until it clears and lowers a little but im no expert. GL and hope this helps a bit.

aaah, your creeks running in to the mighty Ohio are the key. Get as close to the main stem of the river as you can...a slip bobber and minnows in between the drift wood are deadly ...Chuck P.S. I always carry some old line, treble hook and a sinker I won't mind losen.. Just throw the line across the conjested area.pull debrie to one side and tie off...creating your own fishin hole... wait 5 minutes and add minnow.

Too much rain, and tons more coming. Some of these weather boys are talkin about possible 3 more inches here tomorrow, this is getting ridiculous.
