Broke rod!
I have an older all star elite flippin rod that was my favorite of all time and i broke the part that retracts down in to the handle. my question is does anyone know anybody that could replace the blank, if it is even possible to fix? Thanks for any help.

Re: Broke rod!
thats an easy repair, what might make it dificult is finding the blank you want to replace the end section with, if u can get the blank ill repair it for free, but by the time u buy all the compoents and pay for shipping 2 ways, the guides off the old rod are re usable im sure.

Re: Broke rod!
AllStar is still around, and they might even honor their Lifetime warranty........
I wouldn't count on it, but I'd contact them first JUST to see........I know I had a spinnerbait II rod from allstar that I LOVED..........broke it at the handle on a hookset, tried to get them to fix it, and NO LOVE.........
BUT, I'd still check with them first...........
Later,
Geo

Re: Broke rod!
That was there big selling point a few years ago was there life time warranty. A friend of mine sent one back and had to argue with a guy on the phone and he reluctantly took it back. Ryan

I've had Tim repair a couple of my AllStar rods. He does fine work.
