The thread title pretty much sums it up. Looking for something to join as a non boater, I am located in Lexington. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure of the local clubs but what about the BFL?
Kinda thought about that, but honestly not real familiar with the whole tourney thing. Are you pretty familiar with the BFL?

Doing the BFL as a non-boater is an excellent way to learn about tournaments. You will get to fish with a variety of people and learn alot of differnent techniques and styles. They are fun, but expensive - $100 a tourney for a non boater.
Clubs are much cheaper, and you build a base of fishing partners to fish with outside of tournaments. Most clubs need Non-boaters to balance out thier tournaments. I like both routes pretty well. You can alway try one BFL tournament to see if you like it, and then you are not committed to do any more.
The BFL sounds like a really good way to go. So how do I get started in this?
join flw outdoors and pick a division in your area. Ask around and you could find a travel partner to spilt the bills or a boater needing a co-angler to sign-up with
Sounds like a plan!
What areas are you looking to fish? My club is based out of Louisville but fish most of the Central to Western Side of the State. Barren, Nolin, Rough, Green, Dale, River, Barkley, etc.
