Was pretty much a big ZERO. Put in at Halcomb's(nice ramp!!!). Water temp 48. Ran to the back of some of those lower creeks(found water temps 45.8). Marked some bait/with fish way off the banks- depth 7-25 feet. Tried a little of everything, even so desperate we threw a Gizz-4. Will try a different section of the lake next time.
You know, someone else is going to post about how they killed 'em at Cumberland Sat :) You'll get 'em next time, at least you were out fishing!
My buddy and I went right before Christmas and caught two. One 21 lber and a 12 lber. Got the 21 right before dark and the 12 casting after dark.
Well, at least you found out you should have jumped on that reel deal when you had the chance :D You find another deal yet?
