Elwood Fund,.....
Those that were wanting to kick in a little something for Elwood please read this...
Call Backwaters in Lexington....859-266-4506. Ask for John or Jack. Tell them you are wanting to donate to the Elwood Lumpkins fund. They will put your donation on an account that's been set up for him. That way when he gets going he'll be able to go there and shop for whatever he wants..
John Myer, Owner, is going to persnally match a percentage what we collect and add it to the pot.+

Billy Called Backwaters gave them credit card number and amount. This sure makes it nice for those of us wanting to do something and live far away.
I did send him some magazines and a note.
Thanks Steve

Re: Elwood Fund,.....
Guys this is one of the nicest things I've ever seen from a posting board, I'm think it's great the way everyone pulls together to help a fellow fisherman.
I work in Lexington an go by Backwaters everyday, I plan on stopping in there one day this week and pitching in. Elnut I truly hope and pray that you are back on the water soon.
God Bless

Re: Elwood Fund,.....
We stopped in on Saturday about 1pm and we were not the first to stop by and donate that day. You have to give credit to Billy and John at Backwaters.:)

Re: Elwood Fund,.....
Thanks again fellows...
Went over there at lunch and made my deposit.
Keep them coming. It's not how much you give, it's how you feel after you've done it. And believe me, this young man will appreciate it very much.
There's no I in team.
We've(fISHIN.COM) done a good thing here,
